Sheffield Digital Campus, Electric Works won Best Interior Design UK 2010, UK Property Awards in association with Bloomberg Television and the National Innovation Award at the British Council for Offices 2011

The overall masterplan is being developed in three phases. Phase 1 consisted of the construction of ‘Ventana House’ and ‘Electric Works’. Both buildings provide approximately 50,000 sq ft of prestigious office space, one was constructed speculatively - ‘Ventana House’ and the other Electric Works; was developed as a serviced office facility and is owned by Sheffield City Council. GMI was appointed as the main contractor for the £24m contract to deliver remediation and enabling works; detailed design and construction work for the two buildings in Phase 1.
