GMI were awarded the contract to design and build a new manufacturing and production facility for leading County Durham based global provider of lighting solutions and technology, Thorn Lighting. The new £12 million state of the art building was completed in 42 weeks and includes extensive office accommodation, laboratory and testing facilities alongside the landmark Academy of Light (PAL) training and education academy.
